THE RESTORATION

PAT HASN'T ALWAYS BEEN HER SIGNATURE BLUE. IN FACT, SHE WAS ORIGINALLY SCHOOL BUS YELLOW PROBABLY OWNED BY THE COUNTY GOVERNMENT. PAT WAS NO DOUBT A WORK HORSE, BUT SHE'S READY TO SERVE IN A DIFFERENT WAY

WHERE WE STARTED

Pat's facelift journey actually started out on the inside contrary to most restoration projects.

This stage of the process took meticulous taping, inhaling plenty of hopefully non-carcinogenic paint, and patience - lot's and lot's of patience.

THE INTERIOR

The patience we learned in phase 1 was much needed for phase 2.

We were extremely to find two extremely talented professionals, Alex and Dustin, to help up bring Pat's vision to life.

If you can imagine, a 65+ year old pickup (that was found in a shed with no roof) had a few dings in her. In fact, Abby still has the text on her phone from the day Dustin started to work on the roof of Pat that said, "It's almost like a tree fell on it, they patched it, but forgot to take the tree out first". Abby was the CSO of this project -- Chief Sanding Officer. Needless to say, if it weren't for Dustin, Alex, our paint master, and Alex's family (his grandpa found us a new door and dad, Tim, was found at the shop from time to time) Pat wouldn't look like she does today.
